The Ruscoe Nitrile Rubber Sealant is an aluminum fortified adhesive formula that incorporates the protective and elastic qualities of synthetic elastomers. It does not require any priming on properly prepared surfaces and can be applied at a temperature range of 40 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This sealant is consisted of 3 different options, the 12-1 Seam Sealer, 12-3 Self-Leveling, and the 12-4 Non-Sag. The 12-1 seam sealer is recommended for sealing openings less than 1/8in. and can be used as an effective sealant against chemicals, water, air and dirt for sealing seams in downspouts, gutters, chimney flashing, animal feeders, wood, ceramic, concrete, brick, metal, stone, masonry, marble, and glass. The 12-3 Self-Leveling sealant is recommended for sealing openings greater than 1/8in. on areas such as metal buildings, metal or wood doors, windows, HVAC, concrete, stone, marble, glass, and more. The 12-4 Non-Sag sealant is used for sealing openings and lap joints greater than 1/8in. and can be used against water, chemicals, mobile homes, concrete, wood, metal, HVAC, and more. Ruscoe recommends that the 12-1 Seam Sealer and the 12-3 Self-Leveling only be used for sealing horizontal seams only, while the 12-4 Non-Sag can be used on horizontal, vertical, over-head, slanted, or angular surfaces. Cleans up with acetone. Base Polymer: Nitrile Rubber.
